I chose a Kyocera KC-50 50 watt 26” x 26” x 1”, 8 Lbs. solar panel and a Sunforce 30 amp digital solar charge controller. The Controller allows you to monitor current, voltage, charge on battery and protects the battery from overcharge and discharge. The two part aluminum feet allow the panel to be removed by removing 4 bolts. I used 4 - 1/4” by 1/2” no 20 stainless steel bolts and stainless steel nuts with nylon inserts to mount the feet to the panel. I used 4 - 3/4” bolts to attach the two pieces of the feet together, as shown in the first photo. I used 3M Very High Bond tape to mount the feet to the Casita. Some would say it is not necessary but I added a rivet to each foot and a bead of silicon III as insurance.

I drilled a hole for the wire just behind the divide panel between the table seat and bed. I added a switch to disconnect the battery. Thanks to  Dave and Ruth at the Casita Club Forum for the suggestion of using 3M VHB tape.
